Voluntary Action Hinckley & Bosworth is a local charity which aims to promote voluntary and community activities in the Borough of Hinckley & Bosworth.
Our services include:
- Providing support, representation and information for local voluntary and community organisations VOICE
- Providing the latest information and news locally, regionally and nationally Newsletter
- Helping new groups set up, access funds and develop their activities Funding advice and support
- Recruiting, interviewing, referring volunteers to local voluntary, community, statutory and public sector organisations Volunteering
- Providing ongoing support and training for volunteers Volunteering
- Providing training, support and advice on good practice for volunteer involving organisations, financial awareness, being a volunteer and many more Training
- Providing support and information for all carers in Hinckley & Bosworth The Carers Project
- Supporting voluntary and community organisations to set up or develop appropriate financial systems in conjunction with providing financial support and training for Treasurers, Trustees, volunteers and paid members of staff The Moneywise Project
- Providing the latest voluntary and community sector news on a monthly basis (VAHB Newsletter)
- Allowing the local voluntary and community sector to have a say in how we are run and the services we provide Membership
