Voluntary Action Hinckley & Bosworth is a local charity which aims to promote voluntary and community activities in the Borough of Hinckley & Bosworth.
Our services include:
- Providing support, representation and information for local voluntary and community organisations. VOICE
- Providing the latest information and news locally, regionally and nationally. Newsletter
- Helping new groups set up, access funds and develop their activities. Funding advice and support
- Recruiting, interviewing, referring volunteers to local voluntary, community, statutory and public sector organisations. Volunteering
- Providing ongoing support and training for volunteers. Volunteering
- Providing training, support and advice on good practice for volunteer involving organisations, financial awareness, being a volunteer and many more. Training
- Providing support and information for all carers in Hinckley & Bosworth. The Carers Project
- Supporting voluntary and community organisations to set up or develop appropriate financial systems in conjunction with providing financial support and training for Treasurers, Trustees, volunteers and paid members of staff. The Moneywise Project
- Providing the latest voluntary and community sector news on a quarterly basis. VAHB Newsletter
- Allowing the local voluntary and community sector to have a say in how we are run and the services we provide. Membership
