The 2008 Christmas Appeal was a tremendous success not least to the involvement of so many Hinckley & Bosworth people. Thanks to all of you, we supported over 300 children with toys and gifts and 200 families and single people with food parcels, making a huge difference to their Christmas and lives.
2008 was the first time we had run the toy appeal in conjunction with the Salvation Army, and with such strong support from the Hinckley Times and Worklink. Needless to say it was an outstanding success.
We would like to say a big "thank you" for all your help and support. If you would like to make a donation towards next year's appeal or host one of our decorated collection bins at your premises, please contact Yvonne Clarke or Marian Upton on 01455 615962 or 01455 633002, e-mail enquiries@vahb.org.uk.
