Summer Training Programme (July & August 2008)
Courses offered:
- First Aid Appointed Person (one day): Providing essential first aid skills
- Food Hygiene (two days): Covering safe, hygienic preparation of food and drink. Qualification is achieved upon successful completion of a multiple choice test.
- Health & Safety (one day): Covering safe working practices and risk assessment. Qualification achieved upon successful completion of a multiple choice test.
- Introduction to computers: Developing your skills and knowledge on all things IT.
- Internet and Email: Learning the hidden extras of your everyday surfing.
- Powerpoint Presentation: How to design your presentation and then how to connect all the equipment to see it!
- Publisher: Design posters, leaflets, handouts and invitations amongst others. Find out what all those funny buttons mean across the top of the pageā¦.
