INTRODUCTION
1. Carer’s Support Grant is intended to support carers of adults (aged 18 years and over) by enabling them to take ‘real time off’ from caring, to reduce the impact of caring on their health and well-being and, support them to continue in their caring role. This may include arranging for additional service for the cared for person that would not be arranged as a social care community care service i.e. a Carers’ service.
