Organisation Support

Your organisation could be a voluntary or community one, a statutory agency or a public or private agency, but if you involve volunteers then we are here to help you. We can help in a number of ways.

• We can help you develop your volunteering programme by providing advice, information, model policies and training programmes.
• We can identify potential volunteers for your organisation by advertising your vacancy, carrying out confidential interviews with potential volunteers, and referring them onto your organisation if you have an area of volunteering that they are interested in. We also carry out basic checks on volunteers although please note that we are not able to carry out more detailed checks such as CRB checks.
• We can offer training for your volunteers on a huge range of activities from Introduction to Volunteering, to Communication Skills and Roles and Responsibilities of Trustees.
• We can provide ongoing support for both your volunteers and your organisation keeping you up to date with latest developments, news and contacts.
• We can review your volunteering provision in order that you know you are providing the best opportunities in the best way and your volunteers are getting the best out of their volunteering.
